Market Specials Thursday May 9th
May 7 2009A 2 a.m departure ensured we were one of the first buyers into the market today. Even though most of our stock was preorded it was great to have an early chance at the last minute arrivals for todays Mothersday flower market. Our Ballarat grown Gyp has been short in supply so we were able to purchase some imported Gyp form Kenya to bolster our stock. Santospirito from Torquay picked the first of his magnificent Triumphator lilies yesterday and bought them to market today. We were very excited to load 8 bkts of those on our truck!!! Anthony was unsure weather they would flower in time as they were 2 weeks late in planting them. As always Deon Podger our Gladdie grower has not disappointed and delivered a magnificent load of tall premium Gladdies into store for you to enjoy. Overall we are absolutly thrilled with the wide range and quantity of fresh flowers that we have been able to source for this very special day of the year. We would like to take this oppurtunity to thank all our wonderful growers for there magnificent efforts in supplying these flowers for us.
So please give us a call or drop in to store and let us help you with your flower purchasing needs.
Happy mothers day to all the wonderful mums in the world!
