Market Specials 16th October 2008
October 16 2008With the continued warm weather this weeks market was once again abundant with quality flowers from all over Victoria and Australia. The quality was once again excellent from our preferred suppliers who have all enjoyed a little extra sunlight to bring on their crops.
From Grandiflora(our rose supplier), this week we have secured some good quality 50cm roses that we are offering at 2 bunches for $20.00, which represents great value. This is our ‘bunch of the week’ this week.
From our supplier of lilies, we are seeing some great value in their premium asiatics, that are coming down in price. Their quality is fantastic, with large head size and long vase life.
Our waratah season has been extended, with our local supplier, Margaret from Gordon supplying the shady lady variety, which naturally flowers a little later due to the cooler weather in Gordon.
Alstromeria is once again in abundant supply and opens up beautifully for a long vase life.
Our Ballarat grown carnations are also of brilliant quality. We have the tall varieties in store, and also have the medium carnations that offer great value at only $6 per bunch.
Drop in and see what else we have for you. If you need help with your selection, our ladies love to help with colours and flower suitability for your needs.
